The effective protection against limescale damage which can lead to large repair costs: the water softener.

It should be placed at the entrance to the building, protected by a water filter. There must be a water discharge to the sewer discharge and a power supply. 

A softener works by ion exchange and helps retain scaling salts (calcium and magnesium) in the water and protect installations and equipment from damage due to lime. It is therefore necessary to regularly fill the softener with salt and also check whether the hardness setting is still adequate, otherwise there is a risk of corrosion.

As entry-level softener we mainly deliver and assemble softeners from the BWT-Cillit Group. These are reliable, economical in salt and water, in short, excellent value for money.

We also have other brands of softeners with other specificities such as the Grünbeck brand, and Judo which allows for example to automatically adjust to the quality of the inlet water without redoing the settings if this quality were to be achieved. vary depending on water supply.

At Cillit, we mainly install the Aquium 90 or 120 model, in single-family homes (2 to 2.5 m3 / h), which is composed of an internal meter, a residual hardness adjustment valve, a valve check valve and downstream sampling.

We also install water softeners for apartment residences, but the choice of the device is then a function of the flow rate and it is then case by case according to our technical study.

The body of this Aquium water softener is made of polyester reinforced with fiberglass and the control unit in ABS or Noryl. The programming is volumetric. This softener is equipped with a Bio function which guarantees the quality of the water and aseptic treatment by chlorination before each regeneration.
